To Comment OR Not To Comment

i have a question for all of my readers- well all 5 of you-(i guess i could let people know we have this thing)

can you comment on a blog that was posted weeks ago? months ago? 10-15 posts ago? is there a commenting protocol? it wouldn't bother me- plus i really- really want too. would it bother any of you?

it's just way too hard to keep up with everyone!

Old Friends

i love catching up with old friends- seeing how everyone has progressed in life whether it's through work- school- marriage- children. i was friends with all of these guys so many years ago when i first moved back to utah in the year 2000. they have all since moved away

jen moved to arizona got married to don has 2 very cute boys. kami and erik married then went to n.y.c- now they have their beautiful 10 month old lucy & are in arizona for the time being & erik heywood married to the super cute jessica are working their way to california.

my sister michele is super generous to let us come stay with her every summer in arizona, and every summer i am asked the same question "why would you go to arizona in the summer?" it's because of these pictures. all we do is eat- swim- visit with family- visit with old friends- more eating- more swimming... we love it

Mrs. Holley

25 Years
one of my closest friends from my dancing days is robbin holley- elowe. we have being friends for over 10 years and her family lives in utah, so i am close to them as well. tonight robbin and her siblings surprised their mom lynnea with a retirement party. robbins sister amber wrote up a beautiful speech about how wonderful her mom has been throughout their lives. it was a tear jerker and then to top it off there was a slide show that really put me under. thank you lynn for loving and caring for those kids for so many years. kaleb could have used a teacher like you.

What A Bab-y

i've traveled out of the country to quite a few places but always for work (ballet) this was the first time for complete leisure and the first time with a baby. elsa was fabulous. there where times we had to pull over after hours of driving to let her stretch her little body out, but other that she really did quite well. we even camped a couple of days.

walking around day after day i kept thinking this is so great my jeans, (well adam jeans, he was nice enough to let me take his levis with me while i'm still a few pounds from fitting into my own) are getting really baggy and all while eating tons of chocolate- maybe this is the diet i should have been trying in the states-of course denying the fact that this was about the 5th or 6th day i've worn them.
if only that was possible...

europe was so amazing. from the beautiful weather and scenery in sweden to the really cool architecture & canals in amsterdam. we couldn't have asked for a better time. hanging with your spouse & 4 1/2 month old 24/10 you would think would really test your marriage- we got really lucky this time.

at the wedding dinner- it's tradition to sit everyone next to people they don't know. these where the men i was lucky enough to sit next to. lasse (in the picture next to me) is married to a long time friend of anna's and johan is a childhood friend as well.
