Cowabunga/ park city

old friends in town= good times

robbin came with her family for a couple of weeks & lisa was here for the last week of it so what did we decide to do? go to cowabunga! it was pretty fun but not worth the money. i think because of where it is located (close to the mountains) it made it windy & so cold. i wasn't crazy about all the water falling down from the mousetrap contraption everywhere you went either. when i go down a super fun water slide i don't want water shooting into my face and nose, it's bad enough that you practically get an enema at the end of each ride...



we also headed to park city to go down the alpine slide & the coaster. I stuck with ida while lisa took kaleb-hannah- & zoe on everything. they had fun...

Finally!

so last year i went to the gym one night, very reluctantly cause my gym buddy was out of town, and i ran into one of my best friends from high school eli ley. he has lived here off and on for the last 2 years! one of my other bff's that i grew up with, carley smith-conder, was here for a week so we finally got together.

it's so fun to see how your friends grow up. eli has 2 girls & has been married for 12 years & he's going to be a plastic surgeon. carls has a girl & a boy & has been married for 11 years & is still dancing. she has her own company in az.

those of you who know me well know i absolutely LOVE music. i think i have a pretty wide variety of taste-but some say i'm a bit of a music snob. i think i just have really good taste.

The 24th

we spent the 4th of july at our friends josh & jens house- but decided it was a little early for ida's little ears to hear all the bang bang so we went home early- now the 24th being 2 weeks later & her little ears being a little more developed we went to jeron & eliz' to set some of our own fireworks off in the street. elsa was having a blast & thought all the lights were very exciting. we hooked a glow stick around her arm so we could keep better track of her while she ran around the fire. j/k she loved how her arm glowed though

M. Ward

i was able to see m. ward at the galivan center with tia & it was free- they have such a great line up this year-thanks lover for watching the girls so i could go!



before mr. ward came out to play-some guy came out and announced that the performer had asked that no photographs be taken while he performed. as soon as he started playing pretty much everyone started taking pictures. i only had my iphone on me- so this pic was the best i could get
