Old Friends Are Rad

oh how i love to see old friends. i danced with these gals when i was briefly at the university of utah. naomi is a broadway superstar, she lives in the n.y.c. . she was in the first production of the producers with matthew broderick for years among tons of other broadway shows. jenny owns her own successful dance studio. these gals are always a good time. luckily i get to see jenny every so often.

 

Happy Mother's Day!

lunch with my mom- dinner with adam's. what a day!

my sisters were in town helping with my moms while she was recovery from her knee surgery. we had a lunch with my wonderful mom cause my sister's had to leave on a jet plane early that evening- so we dashed down to adam's fabulous moms to have dinner with the paul crew. sooo much yummy food and dessert- i'm pretty sure future baby gained 5 lbs as well as my bottom half....

the tulips are from our yard. adam picked them for me for mother's day. i love tulips- they make our yard look georgous- i wished they lived longer.

p.s. i know i look really bad in my sister's & mom picture, but everybody else looked sooo good i sacrificed myself. to be honest i didn't really look good in any of them so i thought i might as well pick the best one (minus) me.... i probably would have super impose a better picture of me (which i've been known to do) but my new computer doesn't have photoshop & i am too lazy to go get my old one. 

 

Coolest Piñata Ever

amanda had a star wars themed birthday party for christian with the coolest piñata ever- the kids loved it. instead of hitting it though you take turns pulling the strings at the bottom until the bottom of the head falls out. you wouldn't think the kids would have as much fun- cause come on who doesn't want to hit something- but they did... & there was tons and tons of candy- really good candy

 

 

 

Mom's Surgery= A Little Bit of Throw-up in Your Mouth

could you imagine replacing your knee with something completly foreign? yikes- what a trooper! my brother eric came to town the first weekend & my sisters michele & lori are here now. so mom is of course having a (painful) blast with all the ladies around.

the weird material on her leg is a clear tape holding the staples & junk in place

 

 

 

Where I've Been

 

yep it's that time again- THE BEEHIVE BAZAAR- so these are my new bags amongst other things

1. fabric wall art- for kids or adults
2. diaper bags/ totes- made from japanese imported fabric- big front pocket with 2 smaller pockets ready for a bottle or cell phone- or keys or mars bar...
3. dove pillows for your sofa
4. new japanese imported sewing tape turned into pacifier clips- now extra sturdy
5. gold plated state and letter charms- attached to gold filled chain

so we set out for one last trip before future baby comes in june- of course we picked new york- the pollei-palmers set up a big easter party at their house in scarsdale, where lots of friends came together to eat a super yummy meal

 

waiting way too long & paying way too much for the shake shack- the last one has an actor from this show i really like called my boys (i had to sneak a picture in)

 

playing with poppy- pancake- reyn & megan--reyn loves to beat up babies-one minute he's wrestling with elsa and making her laugh- the next he's putting her legs in a knot & making her cry- just don't let reyn babysit your child

Ugh! Another Birthday...

so i think i'm finally at that age where i can honestly say i'm really not that interested in celebrating my birthday.

am i really 36- 36! i remember when i was in my early 20's thinking people in there 30's where soooo old. i want to say my 20 year old self was wrong- but i think she was right if not in years at least physically.
