We Heart David Sedaris
adam and i went to the book reading of "When You Are Engulfed in Flames" we have the book but i hadn't read it yet because the last time i went to see him, a few years ago, most of the stories he read i had already heard. so since i knew we were going to his book reading i wanted to be surprised so i waited to read his new one. to be honest i almost always purchase the book on tape as well. i LOVE listening to him read his stories. once i was on an airplane listening to "Me Talk Pretty One Day" and i was laughing so loud that the woman sitting next to me asked me to keep it down. i had to turn it off.
most of his readings tonight ended up being from his journal or his short essays in the new yorker so i could have been engulfed afterall...
we laughed until we cried & almost peed our pants. i forgot my camera so adam took this picture with his phone so it's a little tuff to see.

Goodbye Love
today i said goodbye to my other lover- hot lava #1783. we had so many fun road trips- so many good times. i'll miss you orange box- i know your new parents will treat you well!
