Kansas City

adam- elsa- my mom and I went to kansas city to watch one of my sister lisa's last shows. she's retiring this year. this is where we stayed. i know-- it's like a museum. it's her boyfriends house. he owns a modern furniture store, but most of the items in his house right now are post modern. soooo cool.

 

kansas city is full of random art all over town. i didn't pull my camera out enough, but these are a few of the art sculptures that were around town.



lisa - max-elsa- hannah. lisa and her girls now have 3 dogs. this one is max- he's the newest to the clan so he's still a little wild. he wanted to eat elsa or at least lick her to death.



mom- zoe- elsa- lisa- rod- watching the oscars. we bet on the top 5 winners (best/best supporting- actor/actress- & best movie) i guessed all 5 correct. i didn't win a thing cause we forgot to actually bet anything...





the girls were amazing running around with us everywhere we went- while lisa performed in the shows we didn't go and see. it was zoe's 10th birthday so she got this really cool project runway book that the girls would spin this arrow and it would tell them what style/ type of outfit to sketch. the sketches they did were like the professionals. i wonder what they'll be when they grow up...

as most people know- i'm not a huge fan of valentines day. why all the pressure to get your honey something in february? my good friend tia and her husband write love letters to each other every year for their anniversary- so i thought since we don't care to celebrate v-day we could at least share some of our sexy thoughts... this is the front of the card i made

Kaleb's B-Day Fun

we went to classic skate for k's birthday and the boys got their fix from the jumper- the jungle and all the arcade games. i got mine from ms. pac-man of course. we loved deal or no deal- for some reason it's kind of addictive

so i thought it would be fun to put up a bunch of pictures of kaleb from over the years. more of the pictures are from when he was super little. he was such a cute baby. i can't even describe the feeling i had when he came into my world. it was such an amazingly crazy strong love, i had never felt anything like it before. i had to scan most of these in since i didn't have a digital camera till 2004

these are some of my favorite pictures throughout her first year- i seriously can't believe elsa's 1. this year has flown by so fast and we have been so blessed to have this little creature in our home- she's slowly starting to walk- she loves to sing and click her tongue to music- she almost always refuses to eat baby food (she only wants what we are eating)- her smile has changed so much now that she has her 2 top teeth- she's still learning to play well with others-she has had the nastiest, poopiest diapers ever lately & she knows how to unlock my iphone
