Kaleb's B-Day Fun

we went to classic skate for k's birthday and the boys got their fix from the jumper- the jungle and all the arcade games. i got mine from ms. pac-man of course. we loved deal or no deal- for some reason it's kind of addictive

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

K- Man 11 Years Old

so i thought it would be fun to put up a bunch of pictures of kaleb from over the years. more of the pictures are from when he was super little. he was such a cute baby. i can't even describe the feeling i had when he came into my world. it was such an amazingly crazy strong love, i had never felt anything like it before. i had to scan most of these in since i didn't have a digital camera till 2004

these are some of my favorite pictures throughout her first year- i seriously can't believe elsa's 1. this year has flown by so fast and we have been so blessed to have this little creature in our home- she's slowly starting to walk- she loves to sing and click her tongue to music- she almost always refuses to eat baby food (she only wants what we are eating)- her smile has changed so much now that she has her 2 top teeth- she's still learning to play well with others-she has had the nastiest, poopiest diapers ever lately & she knows how to unlock my iphone

February Birthday

lots of february birthdays- ciel & simeon on the 7th- elsa the 10th & kaleb the 11th



eliz ordered some beautiful- yummy cupcakes from her friend lesleigh

elsa didn't know exactly how to blow out her candle on her cake-so we lit it for her to try again & she burnt her fingers-we are such lame parents- she recovered quickly after she had a taste of the sugary yum



elsa just kind of played with her peice- simeon dug into his and ciel was super dainty with hers







it's a tradition in some countries to put some items on a plate that symbolize what your child will become in the future- then you have the child crawl over to pick out what he/she will be. we thought it would be fun to do this with the babies. this way we could tell them what they'll be when they grow up so they don't have to ever worry about it... for example- thermometer = doctor, cash= business man, paint brush= artist- etc. elsa picked the pen which = writer -as long as she doesn't take after her mom, she should be good



all the babies loved this toy- except that they kind of hit each other instead of the balls



elsa loves touching my hair when she's drinking her bottle or anyones hair anytime, so we thought she might like a doll that has hair- adam doesn't like a lot of the baby names that i love (i have a really long list) so i've resigned to naming elsa's dolls those names- this ones hazel



ciel also got a doll- i secretly named her esmae

jen made this adorable doll for elsa- her name's ramona





the bongos were elsa's favorite gift

this was k's favorite gift- he's wanted a nano for a few years now- we finally gave in

Vanilla Pie Up & Running

i finally put my baby brand vanilla pie on etsy. i'm still working on listing a few more items & i'll probably be making little summer outfits now & then putting them on there this summer. once future baby comes i can't imagine i'll be by my sewing machine too often. how do people do anything with 2 little ones. with the age difference in kaleb & elsa it's not too hard. my anxiety grows just as much as my excitement so you can imagine how big that is...
