so i've been crazy busy sewing- sewing- sewing. i'm in a couple of shows this years and decided to expand my repertoire and start making baby items. with the new little creature in my life as inspiration- it really wasn't too hard to figure out what i wanted to make. i'm calling this baby line VANILLA PIE

i love these flannel blankets i bought at target last year from the dwell studio collection and decided that was all elsa needed. the fabrics i saw in the store were so great i decided i had to start making my own. yes i know they look really easy since they are only surged around the edges- but they are still time consuming- i think they will be hard to sell because of the "i could make that" fact but i'm hoping the material will sell them. it really is fabulous
i decided not to make more of these- i thought it would be a fun way to use the scraps form the bibs & blankets- but it turns out to be way too time consuming for how little i wanted to charge.
these pacifier clips are made from japanese sewing tape i ordered straight from japan. they really have the coolest stuff. the designs on the tape are super cute. i'm loving these little matruska nesting dolls. i keep them short cause i was tired of elsa's pacifier dragging.
i made these booties tall-cause i wanted elsa's little legs to stay warm under her jeans. you can scrunch or roll them down- 3 styles in one- what baby doesn't want that!
i started making these bibs cause i was frustrated with the ones i had not covering enough- too short and skimpy- every time elsa turned her head- food would get all over the shoulders of her clothing. not anymore...
the pillow cases aren't for babys- we just really needed one for our couch so why not make them to sell
this weekend the 20th & 21st- is the TOM & LUCY show in lehi look to the left for the button for directions. in two weeks i'll be at the BEEHIVE BAZAAR dec 4th-5th-6th.
